What impressed me even more than the course was the staff. Everyone was helpful and friendly — and I saw several examples of employees going the “extra mile.”
William Rose GOLFER
This is one of my favorite courses. Greens were in great shape and fairways lush and well maintained. Course is challenging but not overly difficult.
David Schlosser GOLFER
Beautiful course, very well maintained, with great greens and a fair price.

FAQ

Questions,
answered.

The things people ask before they book — hours, rates, dress code, walking, and food. Don't see yours? Call 330.225.6122.

01 What are Coppertop Golf Club's hours?

Coppertop is open seven days a week during the golf season. Weekday tee times typically begin at 7:00 AM and weekend play starts at 6:30 AM. Hours vary seasonally and with daylight — call 330-225-6122 for current hours before your visit.

02 How do I book a tee time?

Tee times can be booked online at coppertop-golf-club.book.teeitup.com, or by calling us at 330-225-6122. Online booking is available 24/7 and is the fastest way to lock in your preferred time.

03 What are the green fees?

Green fees vary by day of week, time of day, and season. Weekday rates are generally lower than weekend rates. We periodically offer discounted deal times — as low as $24 per player. Check online or call 330-225-6122 for current pricing.

04 Is Coppertop a public or private course?

Coppertop is fully public — no membership required. Anyone can book a tee time, any day of the week. Drop in, walk on, or plan ahead online.

05 How difficult is the course?

Coppertop is designed to be challenging but playable for all skill levels. The course plays 6,210 yards from the back tees (par 70, course rating 68.3, slope 121). The signature difficulty comes from mature, tight tree-lined fairways that demand accuracy off the tee. Multiple tee box options let golfers play at a length appropriate for their game.

06 Can I walk the course, or is a cart required?

Walking is permitted at Coppertop. Carts are available for rental but not required (except during certain peak times or outing events). The rolling, hilly terrain does make walking a workout — many players enjoy it as part of a great round.

07 Is there food and drink on-site?

Yes — the Golfers Pub is on premises with a full bar, and a snack bar for grab-and-go bites between holes. Hot food from the kitchen is available on league nights and at private events; outside of those times we keep things simple with snack-bar offerings and drinks.

08 Is there a pro shop?

Yes — Coppertop has a fully stocked pro shop with golf balls, gloves, tees, apparel, and equipment. The pro shop staff can also assist with club rentals, course rules, and local area information.

09 What is the dress code?

Coppertop maintains a golf-appropriate dress standard. Collared shirts are preferred for men. Denim jeans and cutoff shorts are generally discouraged on the course. Smart casual attire is appropriate in the Golfers Pub. When in doubt, call us at 330-225-6122.

10 Can I play just 9 holes instead of 18?

Nine-hole play may be available depending on course availability and time of day. 9-hole rounds are more commonly accommodated during weekdays and later in the afternoon. Call 330-225-6122 to inquire about 9-hole tee times and pricing.
